Police earnings for accident referrals revealed
The West Midlands Police earned over £600 000 in 2009 due to “tip off” fees from referring customers to “call-out” companies, it has emerged.
A freedom of information request made by the Metro has revealed West Midlands Police earned £622 275 from contractors’ payments.
