Profits soar at Fortis-owned broker

The Green Insurance Company has reported turnover of £4.36m for the year 2009, marking a significant increase on the £2.7m reported the previous year.

The Uddingston-based intermediary, which was set up as a subsidiary of Kwik Fit Insurance three years ago, and is now part of Fortis following an acquisition by the insurer, reported a pre-tax profit
