Chilean earthquake impacts Amlin profits
Amlin has reported a fall in profits of more than £70m after suffering large losses due to the Chilean earthquake.
Amlin announced pre-tax profit of £107.6m for the first half of 2010 (H1 2009: £177.1m), with the company estimating its exposure to the earthquake at $167.6m (£108.4m).
