Scor in earnings surge
French reinsurer Scor reported a surge in earnings in the fourth quarter of the year.
Fourth quarter net income jumped to €92m from €35m in 2008, while for the full year, earnings rose more narrowly, going to €372m from €348m.
The combined ratio improved to 96.8% in 2009 compared to 98
