Haddrill handed top job at ABI

The Association of British Insurers today announced the appointment of Stephen Haddrill as director general in succession to Mary Francis. He will take up his position on 3 May 2005.

Stephen Haddrill is currently director general, Fair Markets Group at the Department of Trade and Industry. He has spent much of his career at the DTI where previous positions included Director

FCA vows to keep pressure on premium finance APRs

The Financial Conduct Authority has said it will “continue to put pressure” on companies offering premium finance in a bid to continue lowering annual percentage rates after revealing the impact its enforcement action has had so far.
