Private equity firm interested in buying part of Chaucer

Private equity firm Pamplona Capital Management has said that it is interested in buying 29.9% of Lloyd's (re)insurer Chaucer.

It is yet to say how much it is willing to part with for a slice of the company.
Chaucer is also thought to be in takeover discussions with Lloyd's (re)insurer Brit, but did not elaborate on
