Bermuda poised for ‘corruption dossier’ revelations as courts deny gagging order
Bermudian police and legal chiefs are are fighting a last-ditch action that could see them appeal all the way to the Privy Council in London to obtain a gagging order against local media wishing to publish excerpts from leaked police files from investigations into allegations of corruption involving senior government figures on the island, according to local reports.
Local Bermudian newspaper The Royal Gazette reported yesterday, Monday 25th June, that the Bermudian Court of Appeal upheld an earlier ruling that that decided it was in the public interest for
