Australian fires could cost £226m
The bush fires which swept through a number of states in Australia killing 200 people could cost insurers A$500m (£226m), Guy Carpenter has said in a report.
According to the reinsurance broker, 20 fires still burn in Victoria. Over the weekend, firefighters had to battle upwards of 400 bushfires in New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria.
