Glacier Re takes specialty treaty underwriter from Ace
Glacier Re, the European reinsurer, has announced the appointment of Doris Pöpplein as specialty treaty underwriter.
Ms Pöpplein will focus on aviation, space and war and terrorism reinsurance business. She takes up her post on 1 August 2008 and will be based in Glacier Re’s Head Office in Pfäffikon, Switzerland.
