IAIS strengthens commitment to IASB
The International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) has announced the formation of a new subcommittee to deal with the increasing set of accounting issues and to strengthen its commitment to continued and improved cooperation with the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
The newly formed Insurance Contracts Subcommittee will coordinate the IAIS’s position on various IASB projects covering insurance contracts, financial instruments and revenue recognition.
