NU shuts high street broking arm HHH
Norwich Union this morning announced that it plans to close high street broking subsidiary Hill House Hammond. The Bristol-based broking giant employs over 2000 people.
An NU spokesman said that it had taken the decision after failing to find a buyer. A number of rivals including AA Insurance and Bradford & Bingley had been linked with a deal.The spokesman added that
