Insured losses from Gustav estimated at $3-7bn - Eqecat
Hurricane Gustav, which ravaged the state of Louisiana but managed to miss New Orleans, may still have caused insured losses for $3-7bn, according to modelling firm Eqecat.
This is down from initial estimates of up to $10bn. Eqecat said it has not changed its estimate of damage and disruption related to production of crude oil and natural gas offshore in the U.S. Gulf of
