MPs and activists call for ‘proactive’ reform to Flood Re's insurers
MPs and climate change activists have called on the government to use ongoing flood policy reforms to examine whether insurers benefiting from Flood Re should also be financing or underwriting fossil fuel projects.
The intervention follows an investigation by The Bureau of Investigative Journalism, based partly on an analysis of data compiled by campaign group Urgewald.
According to the report, four insurers that
