Humans remain ‘weakest link’ when it comes to cyber attacks
Resilience’s Midyear Cyber Risk Report has found that while artificial intelligence has started to commit its own cyber attacks, humans continue to be the weak link causing the majority of losses.
In the first half of 2026, Resilience observed no incurred losses from AI-specific attack vectors, including prompt injection, model exploitation and agentic AI misuse.
