CMA clears Aviva’s £3.7bn takeover of DLG

The Competition and Markets Authority today (1 July) approved Aviva’s £3.7bn takeover of Direct Line Group.

Having launched its investigation of the deal on 14 May, the CMA gave itself a deadline of 10 July to made a decision.
