Premium finance costs continue to decrease amid regulator scrutiny
The cost of financing insurance premiums has fallen since October 2024, the latest data from Pearson Ham has revealed.
The average motor insurance premium finance cost has eased to just over 10% in April 2025, which is 0.6 percentage points lower than six months ago and roughly 1 percentage point lower than April 2024
