Opportunistic fraud claims on the increase in 2023
Sedgwick has reported an increase in low-value and opportunistic claims fraud in 2023.
The number of accidental loss claims flagged as suspicious by Sedgwick rose 15% in 2023 compared with 2022.
Following investigation, Sedgwick stated the fraud rate for these claims has likewise
