Duck Creek bets on AI and Lloyd’s to drive UK expansion

As Lloyd’s looks beyond Blueprint Two, Duck Creek is positioning itself to become a leading technology provider to the London Market, backed by new artificial intelligence capabilities and a push for market certification.

At the US-based software provider’s annual conference in London yesterday (10 June), CEO Hardeep Gulati, pictured, said he will pursue Lloyd’s market certification.

Lloyd’s profits fall to £3.5bn

Lloyd’s profit before tax fell from £4.2bn in the first half of 2025 to £3.5bn in the first six months of 2026, as lower investment returns offset a "strong" underwriting performance.
