Lloyd's approves California wildfire syndicate

Lloyd’s has approved the creation of a syndicate dedicated to underwriting wildfire-exposed commercial risks in California.

Wildfire Defense Syndicate 1996 started underwriting at the start of the month, and focuses on excess and surplus lines property insurance. The syndicate provides additional capacity to Wildfire
