RSA merges commercial businesses

RSA UK & International has merged its Commercial Risk Solutions and Global Risk Solutions businesses to create a single business unit focused on commercial lines, as it seeks to regain profitability.

RSA’s UK&I commercial division currently operates as two separate businesses, CRS focusing on UK domestic risks and delegated market authorities and GRS handling multinational corporate clients

Hidden risks in insurers’ culture and misconduct data

Insurers are under growing regulatory pressure to treat non-financial misconduct as a core conduct risk, according to Loka Venkatramana from Pathlight Associates, who says they should use cultural and behavioural data with the same rigour as financial metrics to identify and address problems before they damage customers, staff or the market.
