Standard Club to leave Lloyd's next year
Mutual protection and indemnity club, The Standard Club, will withdraw from underwriting at Lloyd’s in 2019.
By way of explanation, it said “current overcapacity and a weak pricing environment have made Lloyd’s a challenging environment to develop a profitable underwriting business with sufficient scale.”
