Matthew Cannock named new Markel MD in Singapore
Markel International has appointed Matthew Cannock as managing director in Singapore.
Cannock, pictured, who joined Markel in 2012 as a marine underwriter, takes up the role at the end of the month, succeeding Peter Phillips, who has led Markel's Asia Pacific operations since 2007.
