Mitsui issues timber frame warning
Mitsui Sumitomo has warned property owners of the dangers of carrying out extensive repairs on timber frame buildings.
The Lloyd's insurer has urged owners to ensure that the fire risks of timber frame buildings - which are fully understood at the time of construction - are properly accounted for during repairs.
