Jubilee off the market as Ascot buys motor book

Jubilee group chief executive Andreas Loucaides has vowed that the Lloyd's underwriter is no longer for sale, despite Ascot Underwriting acquiring its commercial motor book.

The insurer sold the £20m account last week, with Ascot picking up the renewal rights from 11 December. The disposal comes just weeks after Jubilee pulled out of talks with Israeli financial services
