Lancashire profit up at $67m in H1
Property and casualty insurer Lancashire reported an 18% rise in first-half pre-tax profit thanks to a benign loss period.
Lancashire’s pretax profit rose to $66.7m in the six months ended 30 June, from $56.6m a year earlier.
The quarterly profit before tax rose to $38m from $30.1m a year earlier.
