Mapfre reports 15.5% premium growth for 2011
Spanish insurer Mapfre reported a 15.5% growth in premiums to €19,600.2m in its full year 2011 results released today.
Group revenues increased 14.9%, to €23,530.3m. This was attributed to favourable development of Mapfre's domestic business, with growth in life assurance and home lines and above average performance
