XL opens Manchester office
XL Group is opening an office in Manchester and has appointed Mick Turvey as regional underwriting manager, UK middle markets, to head it up.
Turvey has joined the insurer from Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance where he was also regional underwriting manager. XL is looking to recruit two more underwriters for the new Manchester office.
