‘Major reset’ expected in motor personal injury two years on from whiplash reforms
Minster Law chief executive Shirley Woolham said following a complex year that saw industry come out of a pandemic and continue to deal with the aftermath of whiplash reforms, the personal injury motor market is transforming to a very different landscape.
Reforms were introduced in May 2021 to lower the cost of claims after it was discovered whiplash claims were totalling more than £2bn a year, adding an average of £90 to car insurance policies.
