Storm Barra bears down on UK and Ireland

Storm Barra is expected to hit the Republic of Ireland before moving across to the UK tomorrow, bringing strong winds and rain in the wake of Arwen’s destruction.

The Met Office has issued a series of yellow weather warnings across most of the UK, with Barra expected to bring wind, rain and snow. Gusts of up to 50 miles per hour are expected, rising the 70 mph
