Grenfell fraudsters claimed £775,000 from the victims’ fund
Fraudsters have been convicted for falsely claiming a total of £775,000 from the Grenfell Tower victims’ fund.
Following the fire at Grenfell Tower in Kensington on 14 June 2017, which claimed 72 lives, Kensington and Chelsea council has identified 16 criminals who have been convicted for siphoning off funds
