Axa insures two Notre Dame contractors
Axa France has revealed it provided civil-liability coverage for two contracting firms that were working on an on-going restoration of Notre Dame Cathedral, prior to the fire that demolished the building on Monday evening.
While Axa provided cover for Europe Echafaudage and Le Bras Frères, it does not insure the cathedral itself.
An Axa spokesperson said: “The Notre Dame Cathedral is classified as a historical monument
