Grenfell insurer anticipates losses of £75m

Exclusive: The insurer of Grenfell Tower has so far paid out £24.5m to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and expects total insured losses to reach £75m.

Sverre Bjerkeli, CEO of Protector, said the company paid out the sum on 17 August last year on the basis of RBKC’s property policy.
