Claims bosses face £500,000 fines under ‘phoenix’ company crackdown
Nuisance call bosses could personally face fines of up to £500,000 under plans to tackle ‘phoenix’ claims management companies.
The proposal is part of a government consultation on giving long-awaited additional powers to the Information Commissioners Office.
The ICO said it had only collected 54% of the £17.8m in fines
