MS&AD hit by large hurricane losses
Japanese insurance giant MS&AD has announced preliminary loss estimates for the recent devastating US hurricanes and Mexico earthquake.
Altogether the hit on pre-tax profits for the full year ending March 2018 is estimated to be between 70bn yen and 110bn yen (£475m to £747m). MS&AD owns insurers including MS Amlin and MSIG Holdings
