Tough attitude from ICO on Talk Talk breach highlights issue for data protection regulations

Following a data breach that saw the personal data of almost 157,000 customers being stolen, Talk Talk has been fined £400,000 by the Information Commissioner's Office.

The ICO said that it had failed
