98.7% of UK motorists believe they are ‘safe drivers’
A report commissioned by Carrot Insurance found there is a “huge disparity” between the perception and reality of driving behaviour.
Over a quarter of UK drivers (25%) have been involved in an accident, with 22.6% of these admitting it was their own fault, yet 98.7% consider themselves to be safe drivers.
The report also revealed
