Law firm calls for tighter laws on metal theft

A City law firm has called on the government to resurrect the Metal Theft (Prevention) Bill and tackle the scrap dealers head-on.

Nichola Evans, partner at Browne Jacobson, said: "The industry is acting under laws that are past their sell-by date and it is vital the government takes action now by resurrecting the proposed Bill
