Car thieves target defrosting vehicles, ABI warns
Motorists leaving their cars to defrost and warm up this winter risk being left out in the cold as thieves target vehicles left unattended, the Association of British Insurers has warned.
The ABI is urging motorists to brave the cold and stay with their vehicle while it warms up, warning that leaving vehicle unattended with the keys in the ignition could invalidate an insurance claim.
