Carpet company boss found guilty of arson and insurance fraud
The boss of a large carpet warehouse company, has been sentenced to five and a half years in prison after being found guilty of arson and fraud after a fire broke out at his Knowsley-based depot in 2009.
Cunningham Lindsey said the fire caused extensive damage to three neighbouring business premises and the loss to the carpet warehouse alone was estimated at £330k.
