Solicitors' PI numbers stable
The number of law firms without solicitors' professional indemnity cover has remained stable due to competition among qualifying insurers, XL Insurance has claimed.
Two fewer firms — a total of 409 — applied to enter the assigned risks pool by 1 October compared to 2009 according to the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
