South America hit by worst earthquake in decades
South America's worst earthquake in 50 years has killed more than 700 people and caused total losses of up to $30bn (£20bn).
Saturday's 8.8 magnitude earthquake struck off the Chilean coast. Catastrophe modelling specialists put estimated insured losses at between $2bn and $8bn.
