First up to join the debate is Stephen Bamforth, senior partner and group CEO of Griffiths & Armour, who asks what does professionalism in insurance actually mean and puts forward the idea that the crux of professionalism is about rooting out bad practice and retaining quality people.
Bamforth believes "excellent people create great solutions for clients" and these clients are then prepared to pay a reasonable fee - everyone ends up happy.
