Scottish Provident pays out £90m in CI claims
Bosses at Scottish Provident have revealed they paid out £90m in critical illness claims last year, with a total of 91% of all CI claims paid by the company.
In total more than £1m was paid out in children's CI cover and only 2% of claims were declined for non-disclosure. The average pay out was calculated at £82 000, while the largest was just over £945
