Generali director resigns

generali-group-cmyk

Ana Patricia Botin has resigned as a director of Assicurazioni Generali Spa.

The company confirmed it is due to her new appointments in the Santander Group, which has added to her existing difficulties in properly performing her duties as a director of Generali.

Ms Botin was a non-executive independent director in compliance with the code on financial intermediaries and the requirements of the code of conduct of listed companies.

Since 2010 Ms Botin had been a member of the Generali Corporate Governance Committee.
