25% of drivers pay out to avoid an insurance claim
Research by discount and voucher code website ‘My Voucher Codes’ has revealed that a quarter of drivers have avoided using their motor insurance by giving money to a driver they have crashed into to fix the damage.
The poll surveyed 2182 British motorists who had been involved in an accident in the past.
The respondents that claimed to have “paid off” another driver after an accident were then asked to explain
