Ex-Towergate boss to target US market
British Insurance founder Simon Burgess has left the Towergate-owned company to set up an income protection insurance firm in the US.
Mr Burgess, who sold the business to Towergate in January 2008, is in discussions with US insurers to back his new firm which will be launching "imminently".
It is likely to trade under the Burgesses
