Bali airport closed as volcano alert is raised to highest level
Thousands of holidaymakers are stranded on the Indonesian island of Bali today as the authorities closed the only airport.
The authorities have issued their highest alert warning and created an evacuation area of 10km around volcano Mount Agung, pictured, after dense plumes of ash were seen spewing into the sky.
