With the loss of access to the Common Market looking more likely, Hiscox is considering 10 different countries where it could set up a separate EU-registered business, despite saying Brexit posed "a structural challenge not a strategic one".
In the short term, the firm has benefitted from having 75% of revenues not in sterling but the longer term effect might be seen through decision this year.
