A recent Insurance Post survey, conducted in association with Optalitix, explored the insurance pricing transformation approaches being taken by insurers, managing general Agents (MGAs) and reinsurers. The research examines how the industry is navigating the shift from legacy infrastructure to agile, data driven pricing environments.

The survey, conducted in March and April 2026, gathered insights from 111 insurance professionals, representing a cross-section of key stakeholders including actuaries, underwriters, IT leads and C-suite executives. By examining pricing tool choices, decision-making dynamics, and operational friction, the study reveals the commercial and technical drivers currently shaping the market.
