Munich Re Q2 figs show recovery

Munich Re has posted a profit of €628m, taking the company’s results for the first half of the year to a profit of €1.2bn, a big rise on the €529m loss it made in the first half of 2003.

Aspen reports Q2 growth

Aspen Insurance Holdings has reported net income of $80.9m for the three months ended 30 June 2004, bring the company to net income of $165.9m for the first half of 2004.
